Due to the snow today (February 8), a number of western Kansas schools were unable to travel to Kingman for the Regional Scholars' Bowl Tournament. As a result, the tournament has been rescheduled for Wednesday (February 10), at 1:00. We will be releasing students at 12:15 that day.

February 9 - The annual Sophomore magazine sale will be begin Tuesday, February 9th! Please support this fundraiser by either purchasing a new subscription or renewing a current one. If you would like to purchase or renew a magazine and you are not contacted by a KHS sophomore student, please contact Mrs. Witty at 532-3136. Thank you for your continued support on this annual event!

Free Online Tutoring Available for KHS students!
The State Library of Kansas and Kansas public libraries have launched HomeworkKansas, an online tutoring service for Kansas children grades four through 12, and new college students. The service can be accessed at www.homeworkkansas.org and is free to Kansas residents throughout the state. After a quick and easy registration, you'll be ready to receive excellent homework help from this free service.

Boys' Basketball Season Underway -
The Eagle Classic marked the season tipoff as Kingman lost in the first round of the tournament to Nickerson. Kingman played well in the next game against Conway Springs, especially on defense, but lost in gut-wrenching fashion as the game-winning shot didn’t fall.
Students Attend K-State Band Clinic - On the weekend of January 22-24, 12 Kingman High School students (as well as K-12 librarian Desiree Moore and band director Jacqueline Charboneau) had the opportunity to travel to Manhattan, KS to a K-State Concert Band Clinic.
